By Jekyll Island Authority (other events)

9 Dates Through Apr 30, 2022

ABOUT ABOUT

In celebration of 75 years of Jekyll Island State Park, discover how the island's history has been preserved through an inside, behind-the-scenes look at two historic cottages: Indian Mound and Moss. Learn about the work of the museum's first curator, Tallu Fish, where the objects in the museum came from, and how historic preservation has kept the history of each building in the Jekyll Island Club alive.

This tour lasts 90 minutes and includes 35-45 minutes of walking, standing, and climbing stairs. Some portions of this tour take place in small, dimly lit spaces. The tour begins and ends at Mosaic, Jekyll Island Museum, and is recommended for ages 10 and up.
