Evening Turtle Walks 2022

By Old account - Jekyll Island Authority (other events)

36 Dates Through Jul 23, 2022

ABOUT ABOUT

Explore the beach at night and learn about the amazing journey of loggerhead sea turtles nesting along the Georgia coast. Along the way, guides will lead a variety of activities while you wait for potential nesters to arrive. Program participants must provide their own transportation to the beach access in case moving to a different area is necessary. Group size is limited to 20 people per walk by DNR permit restrictions.

Purchase includes free general admission to the GSTC for each ticket holder. General admission can be used the day before, the day of, or the day after your scheduled walk.

If you have any specific needs to participate, please call or email at least one week ahead of your reservation. Please call Reservations (912-635-4076) or email ([email protected]).

MEETING TIME:

Participants should arrive at the designated beach access point by 8:45 PM. An email will be sent with meeting location details in advance of your walk (please bring your receipt).
